Staff:
- A group of persons, as employees (Teachers), charged with carrying out the work of an establishment or executing some undertaking. In this manual the word staff or employees refers to group of teachers in a particular educational institution. At the Senior High level, there are two groups of staff members, namely; the teaching and non- teaching staff.
Performance Improvement:
- Performance improvement can be explained as a form of organisational development focused on increasing outputs and improving efficiency for a particular process or procedure.
- Performance improvement in school can occur at different levels including the school head or management level, staff level, students and the organisation as a whole.
- Motivation from the school authority to the staff of the school can also be considered as one of the factors which control the performance improvement in every educational institution.
