What is Motivation?
- It is common to hear workers threaten their employers with strike actions for various reasons.
- Ghana Education Service staff, Ghana Health Service workers and other categories of workers often embark on strike actions to demand better conditions of service.
- As a head of a school, have you seen or participated in such strike actions before? What were some of the reasons for such strike action?
- I guess you are going to mention salary increase or better condition of service.
NB: Motivation is not a mere increase in salaries.
- The word motivation is coined from the Latin word “movere“, which means to move and it is basically concerned with why people behave in a certain way.
